Privacy Policy
PharmaKarigar (“we”, “us”) is a pharmaceutical hiring platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what a hiring platform needs, and we never sell your data.
1. Information we collect
- Account: email, phone number, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form).
- Applicant profile: name, city/area, experience, expected monthly salary, skills, and availability preferences that you choose to add.
- Documents you upload: resume, and optionally PAN, Aadhaar, or certificates for verification. For identity documents we store the file for verification only — we do not store Aadhaar or PAN numbers, only a verification status.
- Employer / company data: company details, job posts, and hiring pipeline activity.
- Usage & security logs: actions taken in the app (audit trail) and basic technical data needed to keep the service secure.
2. How we use it
- To match candidates with relevant pharma jobs and show explainable match scores.
- To let employers review applicants who apply to their jobs and manage hiring.
- To verify identity/qualifications and issue verified profiles and letters.
- To send you account, application, and verification notifications.
- To keep the platform safe (fraud prevention, abuse detection, audit).
3. What others can see
- When you apply to a job, that employer can see your applicant profile and the documents relevant to the application.
- Your public verification page (shared by you via your PharmaKarigar ID / QR) shows only limited information — name, headline, skills, and platform-verified employment. It never shows your email, phone, salary expectation, or job-search activity.
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
4. Storage & security
Data is stored on infrastructure we control. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Uploaded documents live in private storage and are accessible only through short-lived, signed links to you, the reviewing employer (for application documents), or an administrator. Traffic is encrypted in transit.
5. Retention & your choices
- You can view and update your profile and documents at any time in the app.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and personal data by emailing support@pharmakarigar.in. We will act on verified requests within a reasonable period, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
- We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or as law requires.
6. Children
PharmaKarigar is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
7. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
